A community-sourced map of public artworks — searchable, filterable by place, and open to contributions — built on a shared platform backend.
The challenge
Public art is everywhere and documented nowhere. The stories behind the statue on the corner live in a few people's heads. Capturing that needs a catalogue that's easy to browse and easy to add to, or it stays empty.
The approach
We built VurnaArt as one app on a shared 'Vurna OS' platform — its own catalogue and admin, sitting on common auth and API services. People discover art by province and place, browse what's around them, and report new pieces. The shared backend means the next Vurna product reuses auth and data instead of rebuilding them.
The outcome
A catalogue that grows with its community, and a platform foundation that makes the next product faster to ship.
The outcome
A platform, not just one app
