Cookie Policy

Last updated June 26, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on this site, and how you can manage your choices, in line with the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and the Italian Data Protection Authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device. Together with similar technologies (such as localStorage), they let the site work, remember your preferences, and — if you agree — collect usage statistics.

Your consent

On your first visit we show a banner. Until you choose, non-essential cookies stay off: the site uses Google Consent Mode, which blocks analytics tools until you consent. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category with Customize.

You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of every page.

Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary — always on

Essential for the site to work; they don't require consent. They handle security and remember your language, theme, and cookie choice.

  • NEXT_LOCALE — stores the selected language (duration: 1 year).
  • lg-consent — stores your cookie choice (saved in the browser's localStorage).
  • theme — stores your light/dark preference (saved in localStorage).

Analytics — with your consent

They help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, with consent configured via Consent Mode.

  • _ga — distinguishes users (duration: up to 2 years).
  • _ga_<ID> — keeps session state (duration: up to 2 years).

Controller: Google Ireland Ltd. See Google's privacy policy for more.

Marketing — with your consent

We currently do not use marketing or advertising-profiling cookies. Should we introduce them, they will be enabled only with your consent through the banner, and this page will be updated accordingly.

How to manage or withdraw consent

  • Use the "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of the page to change or withdraw your choices at any time.
  • You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may break the site.

Data processing and your rights

Data collected through cookies is processed in line with our Privacy Policy, which also describes your rights and how to exercise them, including the right to complain to the supervisory authority.
